Nepal Boxing Association Website

The Nepal Boxing Association (NBA) sent me a link to their website (www.nepalboxing.com). It's good to see them being proactive which certainly encourages a Nepali sports blogger like me to follow their sport more.

The NBA website is quite solid. It has lots of information including the history of Nepali boxing. It also is filled with quite a few photos and results. The best part - if you send an email to their contact address, they reply! Good job NBA - I'll be sure to write some boxing stories in the near future.

  1. why dont they update on upcoming tournaments so that interested can atleast be informed b4 its too late to train.they are too slow at publicizing an event and even reporting on current ones.

  2. There is a lot that Nepali sports associations could do to improve themselves, but they all just like to blame lack of funding from the government.

  13. What is the minimum age to enter boxing gyms??

    ReplyDelete
  14. You can start at any age .....given your physical conditions. In boxing you need power punches so if you think you've got it. Then it's never too late. I've heard of people starting at (5 or 8) early but if you are between 20-30 , you can still do it ,required that you give enough time and concerntration .
